Hello! I’m a junior at Stanford University, where I am excited to spend two more years. I plan to graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science with a focus on artificial intelligence and an M.S. in Statistics. I am especially interested in deep learning and blockchain technology and am the current president of the Stanford Bitcoin Club. This year I’m also co-president of Engineers for a Sustainable World as well as a member of the Stanford Robotics Club, SUAVE, and Stanford Beekeepers. I’m currently doing research in the Jackson lab, applying data science and machine learning to investigate issues surrounding fracking, groundwater, and natural gas leaks. My other hobbies include music and art.
During the past summer, I interned at Facebook, working on machine learning for recommender systems. I also spent the two previous summers interning at Amazon. With two good friends, I also run Notes of Harmony, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to supporting education for youth around the world.
I previously attended Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington. During my junior and senior years, I also served as campaign manager for Bellevue Mayor Conrad Lee’s 2013 re-election campaign, winning 78% of the vote.
